Even if we stop all green house gases (such as carbon dioxide) today, we will still be locked into unavoidable climate change due to the delayed effects of these pollutants in our atmosphere.
The best available scientific data as described by the UK Climate Projections 2009, known as UKCP09, says that we can generally expect three things of our future climate:
- More frequent and severe flooding
- Hotter summers and milder winters
- Drier summers
