Climate Change Risks for Yorkshire and Humber

To coincide with the publication of the UK CCRA 2012 and given the importance of local adaptation action, the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (Defra) commissioned the Climate Change Partnerships across England to produce an information pack to highlight key risks and opportunities from climate change within each area.

The training is free of charge to relevant local authority officers and qualifies as CPD for planning officers.

Climate Change Skills Fund - YoHr Space Programme Report and Project Update

Local authority Leaders and Chief Executives recognised the critical importance of managing the risks and opportunities associated with climate change in Yorkshire and Humber and agreed a programme of work that commenced in February 2009. This report sets out the overall programme aims, objectives and outcomes for the YoHr Space Climate Change Programme. It contains details on each project and how to get in touch with the people that led the work as well as where to find the exhaustive range of tools and resources that have been developed.

The ride will start in London on Sunday 6 May 2012. We'll cycle almost 500 miles through breathtaking scenery, arriving in Scotland's capital, Edinburgh, six days later.

Climate Resilient Infrastructure: Preparing for a Changing Climate
