In the light of recent government changes, general belt tightening and cost cutting the Regional Environment Forum has taken on board another lodger. The Environment Forum website will now be the home of the Environment Funding Focus Group. This new group has been set up to;
- Maximise the take up of funding available for the sector to benefit the region
- Share aspirations and portfolio of projects in development
- Share resources and expertise
- Develop greater opportunities for working with all Sectors
- Provide synergy for large scale projects in the region
