A new resource for practitioners involved with the maintenance and development of the local highway network in a changing climate has been published by Climate UK. 'Creating & Managing Resilient Local Highways' follows the successful event in Wakefield presented by Your Climate, in association with Climate UK and national partners, including the Department for Transport and ADEPT that was aimed at local authority elected members, service managers and officers from highways engineering, maintenance, street services, strategic planning, regeneration, environment and sustainability. As well as the new resource, presentations from the event hosted in Wakefield on 15 July are available to download from Your Climate.
